SPARK strives to create an environment that promotes the social and emotional wellness of all children and provide opportunities for students to cultivate healthy habits. In an effort to ensure that all students have an opportunity to be safe and thrive, the Wellness Committee supports SPARK’s long-term commitment to wellness. Information provided includes suggestions on how the entire SPARK community can support a culture of wellness and ensure that children with food allergies can be safe from dangerous exposures.

If you have questions about SPARK’s Wellness activities, please contact Beth Pirnstill or Sara Zeigler.

Community Farmers Markets (CFM)

CFMs have provided educational programming for our SPARK students for many years and their farmers have donated seedlings and produce to our program year after year. Just recently, Ms. Mobley worked with CFM to open a weekly local farmers market right in our school’s neighborhood – the Ponce City Farmers Market which runs every Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 at Ponce City Market under the shed facing the Beltline (we are THRILLED to have this available for our families)!
