Food Allergy Awareness Week – May 15-19
We are aware because at SPARK we care!
This week is national Food Allergy Awareness week! The purpose of this week is to bring awareness to the existence and seriousness of food allergies, and to show SPARK’s support of those students with food allergies. Students will learn age-appropriate facts about food allergies and how they can help! Take the “nut-free challenge!” Peanuts and tree nuts are the most common food allergies. See what it’s like to go nut-free this week at school-that means lunch, snacks, and breakfast!
