2018 Theme – “LIFE IS YOUR JOURNEY, TRAVEL DRUG FREE.”
Red ribbon week will be celebrated at SPARK from Monday October 15th – Friday, October 19th, immediately following our week of Fall Break. Each morning, statistics will be read by students during the morning announcements, and there will be a theme for each day of the week. Students and faculty will be allowed to dress according to the theme for the day. Each classroom will have the opportunity to decorate their door using the theme “LIFE IS YOUR JOURNEY, TRAVEL BULLY FREE!” Doors will be judged on Friday, October 19th, and the winning classroom will receive a popcorn party.
Below are the themes for each day of the week: Note – on Wednesday, Students will take a pledge during lunch and sign a banner.
What to Wear
“RED-Y” to live a Bullying & Drug-Free Life
Students and Staff are asked to wear the color RED
“Too Bright for Bullying”
Students and Staff are asked to wear bright/neon colors or sunglasses
“Give Bullying the BOOT”
Students and staff are asked to wear boots or western attire
“Live like a Star”
Students and Staff are asked to dress like they are on the red carpet
“Team Up against Bullying”
Students and Staff are asked to wear their favorite college or professional team shirt or gear
